FloodWatch remains available as a NESRA Earth Observation and geospatial-response capability. Event-driven monitoring may be reactivated when an authoritative development or partner request creates a material information need.

Scheduled NESRA monitoring paused after the final situation cutoff on 12 September 2026 at 14:50 NPT. This is not a declaration that the disaster, Government-led search and rescue, recovery work or missing-person cases have ended.

NESRA FloodWatch नेपालमा विपद्को समयमा स्रोत–आधारित सूचना, पृथ्वी अवलोकन (Earth Observation) अवस्था, आवागमन तथा पूर्वाधार मूल्याङ्कन, र जिम्मेवार प्रकाशन उपलब्ध गराउने सार्वजनिक कार्यक्रम हो।

Road and infrastructure damage presented separately from official route passability.
Attributed, non-graphic imagery and official public updates without claiming third-party material as NESRA property.
Versioned snapshots for responders, institutions, researchers and the wider public.
No unsupported flood extent, casualty arithmetic, cause attribution or sensitive personal data.
Status vocabulary
- Active Response / Monitoring: incident information is being reviewed and updated as capacity allows.
- Update Pending: a significant source or acquisition is expected but has not yet been reviewed.
- Closed: active updates have ended and the incident record is retained.
- Archived: an earlier version or incident remains available for reference.
